Appleton's is open all year round, prices are charged per room per night and includes breakfast. Please contact us directly regarding negotiable rates for extended stays and regular visits.

The above rates are charged for the first 3 nights, and then a 10% discount applies to all further nights making it ideal for a weeks stay, relaxing and enjoying the pool and garden. A 7 nights stay would be charged at 382.80€ for 2 people, Hi season, including a sumptuously cooked breakfast each morning, or 316€ Low season.

Second home owners stay with us and become a regular, we are offering a great rate for travellers to their homes in the south of France or Spain just 40 Euro’s per night each way in our low season.

We are also ideally placed for house hunters in Indre, Dept 36 and in the Limousin, Dept 23 and 87, Creuse and Haute Vienne. We offer all inclusive 4 day house hunting breaks for only 120 Euro’s per person, based on 2 people sharing a room, these are available October to April. Delicious home cooked evening meals and a good chat about your days viewing with a glass of port in front of the fire.

Our 19th Century farmhouse has been renovated to a high standard having made every effort to retain many of the original features, while incorporating modern amenities. We have created a warm, homely atmosphere for your stay. A great place for children to play and parents to relax, see our favourable room combinations. You can soak up the sun, snooze in the shade or enjoy a bottle of wine from our select collection on the terrace. Malcolm and Edward, your hosts, will endeavour to help you make the most of your stay in their home.

Appleton's is situated on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped countryside with a variety of trees, shrubs and lovely flowering borders. We welcome you to take a stroll through the property including our fruit and vegetable gardens, which provide a bountiful harvest throughout the year for guests and ourselves. Our free-range chickens and ducks are quite entertaining and you are most welcome to help us gather eggs for your breakfast

Our accommodation is spacious and comfortable with bedrooms suitable for families. Alarm clock radios, hair dryers and bottled water are just a few of the amenities offered, unfortunately we do not offer wheelchair access but we offer ground floor rooms for people with limited mobility. Please do not hesitate to let us know how we can make your stay more comfortable. We have feather pillows and duvets so if you are allergic please let us know so we can put synthetic ones onto your bed.

Rose Bedroom

Bedroom 1: First floor location- the largest of our rooms. This stylishly decorated room features a double bed an additional day bed and en-suite double shower. This stylishly decorated room offers views of the garden and expansive countryside. This room can accommodate up to 4. The connecting door to the adjacent Leaf bedroom makes it ideal for families

Bedroom 2: First floor location- a sweet and cosy Twin bedroom with lovely views of the garden and stunning countryside. This bedroom has exclusive use of the hall bathroom featuring a jet bath. This room can have an additional roll-away bed. In addition a connecting door to the adjacent Rose bedroom makes a perfect family suite.

The Wine Cellar Bedroom

Bedroom 3: This bedroom has recently been refurbished. It is on the ground floor with a wet room with shower. This room can also accommodate a child's bed and or cot

Bedroom 4: Located on the ground floor and tastefully decorated, this bedroom offers total comfort and relaxation. It has a double bed and a single bed a full en-suite bathroom. There is ample space for a cot, although not a child's bed. This room is also one of our pet friendly rooms
