La Galerie is a delightful chambres d’hôtes, situated between the historic towns of Cahors and Sarlat, and the Lot and Dordogne valleys,
just outside the pretty village of Catus in the Midi-Pyrénées, southwest France. The Lot is one of the most peaceful, unspoilt departments
in France, with some wonderful sites to explore: Rocamadour, Saint Cirq-Lapopie and many prehistoric caves. And close by the Dordogne with
many wonderful chateaux and historic bastide towns.
The luxurious chambres d'hôtes, bed and breakfast is set in two hectares of gardens
and tranquil wooded grounds
La Galerie is set in a peaceful, tranquil countryside location, and is the ideal place to relax and to
rejuvenate. La Galerie is the perfect place to escape from the stresses of modern life and is ideal for couples. There are seats positioned
in secluded areas around the gardens for quiet meditation or reading. Or simply rest on the sun beds around the peaceful swimming
pool. La Galerie is not suitable for families with young children as most of our guests come to La Galerie for tranquillity and relaxation
La
Galerie has a large 12 x 6 metre, heated, salt-water swimming pool with sun terrace.
For clients who like to keep in contact via e-mail
and wish to access the Internet during their stay, we are able to offer a free WiFi Internet broadband wireless service. This service
is available to clients who arrive equipped with their own portable wireless laptop, and allows access to the Internet while at La

All our stylish chambres are between 20 square metres and 26 square metres in size, plus each has an outdoor seating area. Each bedroom
has a comfortable sitting area with a sofa or armchairs and French TV and English satellite TV. Every bedroom has a private, en-suite
bathroom with shower, supplied with towels and toiletries and a hairdryer. All rooms have heating for the cooler seasons. Our comfortable
beds are larger than the standard French size, with hypoallergenic sprung mattresses for extra comfort. The double beds are 160 cm
wide (European queen size) and the twin beds are 90 cm wide. Two rooms have no steps, however all rooms are on ground floor level.
The bedrooms have lovely views overlooking the delightful, flower-filled courtyard and gardens. There are outdoor sitting areas for
each of the rooms, in the courtyard or on a deck, beneath grape vines or verandas, where guests can enjoy a glass of wine in the warm
evening sunshine
La Galerie has two hectares of beautiful grounds for guests to relax in. As well as swimming in the pool and relaxing on the sun terrace,
you can enjoy a game of boules or badminton, or take a leisurely stroll around the gardens to see wild orchids and watch the abundance
of butterflies and birds, and meet the neighbouring family of donkeys! And during breakfast you can sometimes see the wild deer wandering
through the gardens.
Our garden apartment has a double bed, a comfortable sitting area with armchairs and French & English TV and also a dining table
and chairs. The spacious private, en-suite bathroom has a shower and twin basins. Next to the garden apartment is a covered summer
kitchen (for exclusive use with the apartment).
The garden apartment is adjacent to the swimming pool with views over the pool
and gardens and has its own private decking with a table and chairs beneath the grape vines where guests can enjoy the warm evening
sunshine and a glass of the local Cahors wine whilst watching the sunset
It has been equipped with a fridge, microwave, hob,
kettle, and includes all the crockery and utensils you will need. When renting the apartment there is also the use of a washing machine
All
linen, including towels and pool towels, is provided for the apartment. Reservation of the apartment is from Saturday to Saturday
(7 nights) with a maximum of 2 persons
