Welcome to this most fantastic area of France "the Vendee" famous for wonderful weather, beautiful countryside and superb coastline.
The Vendee boasts the second best sunshine hours in the whole of France (Cote d'Azur being the top) and so you are almost guaranteed the perfect holiday!.
All along the coast is every type of beach imaginable, from rocky shores with shallow rock pools to sheltered sandy coves and activity filled resort beaches.
Journey times from various ferry ports are 3 hours St Malo, 4 hours Caen, 4.5 hours Cherbourg or why not take a budget flight to Nantes from London or Bournemouth.

Holiday Cottages/gites
We have a large house (situated in the country but just 5 minutes from the coast) which can be rented as a whole or as 2 separate gites.
Bed and Breakfast /Chambres d'hotes
Two bedrooms are available as chambres d'hotes so you can stay a night or so if you are touring the country.
Close by there some restaurants but we would also like to invite you to our superb table d'hote dinners.
We came to this area last year to live the French dream so why not come and share it with us and discover this beautiful area.
Mobile Home
Situated in the garden there is a luxury mobile home which is also fully equipped and has three bedrooms (2 doubles and a twin), kitchen, dining area, and large lounge. Both the lounge and dining area can sleep up to four more persons. It has a separate wc and a bathroom with shower bath and washbasin. Outside it has its own raised terrace with table, parasol, and chairs.
When we visited this area we loved it so much we decided to stay!

Poppies b&b: (B) (1-2 persons)
This charming b&b double bedroom has a separate entrance and is situated on the first floor. It has an en-suite shower room and a small lounge area with a mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a satellite tv, dvd player and radio/cd. There are panoramic views over a small lake and at the rear over the garden and swimming pool. (Cont. Breakfast included).

with the gites to increase capacity (see tariff page on owners website).
