Gites - "Vin Rouge" and "Vin Blanc"

We are situated in the South Vendee, France, within easy reach of La Rochelle , and offer two gites for self-catering holiday accommodation. Each gite is furnished for blocks of minimum one week holidays, arriving on a Saturday (variable outside peak season). There's a solar heated swimming pool (10m * 5m), Summer kitchen and BBQ as shared facilities, as well as a table tennis table, badminton area, and boule and croquet available

The spacious gites are maintained to a high standard, and there is ample parking and places to relax, both sunny and shaded, as well as swings for the children

The Village

We are on the outskirts of the village of Nieul sur l'Autise, with its famous Abbey so the French bread at the Boulengerie and un glass of vin rouge at the Hotel are 5 minutes walk away

Nearby

We are ideally situated for the Forest at Mervent, the seaside port of La Rochelle, the theme parks of Futurescope at Poitiers and Puy du Fou towards Nantes, as well as the beaches at La Tranche sur Mer and Les Sables d'Olonne

Both gites are 200 m2 and are self-contained to take a maximum of 4 people, with two bedrooms - one with a double bed, the other with a double and single bed.

Each gite has downstairs kitchen and shower room, with each master bedroom having its own sink.

Each unit is fully equipped for self-catering accommodation, with cooker, microwave, crockery and cutlery and dining room.

Your gite is also equipped with colour TV, CD, and radio. The TV has FREEVIEW, so offers British channels like BBC etc


Shared facilities include laundry, outside Summer kitchen, BBQ area and solar heated swimming pool

1. Bookings are in blocks of a week, Saturday to Saturday
2. Shorter bookings possible outside of season
3. Prices are in £ Sterling per week, and include the local tourist tax
4. If Gite heating is required there is an additional charge of 50 Euros/week
5. A £100 per booking breakages/excess cleaning deposit ("dépôt de
  garantie" under French law) is payable with your final payment. This will be returned to you within 7 days of the end of your holiday, less any deductions for breakages or excessive cleaning that is needed
