This charming spacious cottage has all you need for a get away from it all holiday,with its open beams, oak staircase and window seats
over looking the surrounding countryside. The cottage has an old world charm at the same time having all the comforts of a modern
home.
There are 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 comfortably and a sofa bed sleeping a further 2 if needed.
It is located in the friendly village
of Villepail, which offers a well stocked fishing lake,boules pitch and lots of great walks.
Villepail is a haven for wild life as
the village is sat in a valley with rolling pasture and farm lands on one side and ancient woodland on the other.We often see the
birds of prey soaring over our field
The Ground Floor
Kitchen:
A light and airy room with the double sink overlooking the rear with great views. It is very well equipped
with every thing you need including a fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine,washing machine and 5 ring gas hob and oven.
Lounge/Diner:
A more than spacious room with open beams, oak topped window seats access to the rear courtyard.
The dining table sits 4 but there
are more chairs if needed.
There are 2 2seater sofas in front of the TV and DVD player and ample lighting throughout.
There are windows
to the front and rear offering stunning views over the garden and surrounding countryside.
We also have a reading corner with lots
of books and games for young and old.
The Upper Floor
Main bedroom:
A large light room with a double bed, wardrobe
bedside cabinets and lamps and a full length mirror.
Twin room:
A light room with a large velux window offering brilliant views.
" single beds 2 chest of draws and hanging rail.
There is also storage cupboards for your suitcases.

Shower room:
A very spacious
room with w.c , shower and hand basin.
Additional information:
We supply all bedding , linen, towels and tea towels.
There
is a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and sugar.
In the summer months you will receive a complimentary vegetable box
Holiday accommodation in France at La Maison Tranquille
The Garden
We have a large vegetable plot, Orchard and we keep free range chickens and geese.
We offer fresh eggs, fruit and
vegetables(grown organically) in season.
If you book a weeks holiday with us in June, July or August you will receive a complimentary
mixed vegetable box from us.
The Local Area
We have an excellent choice in our local area for organic produce. You can buy things
like cheese, milk and pork direct from the farms or you can look out for the marked produce in the local supermarket.
We have a baker
who calls in the village outside the cottage 3 times a week and a butcher who calls on Wednesday that you can take advantage of
Additional Information
A
non refundable deposit of £50 is asked for on confirmation of your booking The balance in payable in EUROS on arrival to the cottage.
The
price includes heating, gas(for cooking) and all bedding and linen. There are no extra costs.
We will consider pets.
The cottage has
a non smoking policy.
On the day of your departure we would expect the cottage to be left clean and tidy. However we do provide a
cleaning service for 20 euro's
